| General Comments: | Have a look at these 14 light steers. These steers are every bit as good as their big brothers, just a little younger/smaller. All home-raised sired by Angus and Simmental bulls over an Angus X cowherd. Backgrounded right to do 1.8 lbs/day and are all light-fleshed. Calves were sorted for numbers and sample weight taken March 12th. All groups are weighted on a ground scale, so can be added to either the heifer or steer loads, or picked up with a stock trailer. |
