• Here is another bull out of our great Flora cow family. Once again, a little more frame and growth to him. He was one of the bigger bulls at weaning time.
• Flora 74F is a beautiful Big Time 848C daughter who has calved 1st cycle every year. Fertility is the most important factor affecting Profitability. 5X more impactful than growth rate. Our cows don’t calve first cycle because we put the feed into them to make sure it happens. We have selected and culled for cow families that have proven they can adapt to our environment and grazing practices.
• When 74F calves, she is not keen on us picking up and weighing her calves. We get it done, but she is not happy about it.
