| General Comments: | We are headed back to the Cattleland backgrounding pens for two nice loads of mostly exotic feeding heifers! The cattle have stayed on schedule at 2.25 lbs per day, so they are not packing any extra flesh. Good frame, good stretch and they should really push ahead on a finishing ration. The trucks will leave full, so the count may vary with the weigh up. Taking the top sort from 165 head. A few sets of small horns in the group. ANRP. They were re-implanted on May 5, so they won't need another one until August. |
